Sureside provided services to Cardno emerging markets to design a new small vessel lift located within the existing protected basin.

the design was challenging in that details of the existing basin were unknown. in the design process it was clear that there were several unknowns to manage which would likely be important in designing in an appropriate level of resilience.

sureside brought its experience with previous ship lift designs plus its experience in other adjacent projects that needed to deal with highly variable ground conditions that prevail around nauru’s shore.
