A study was commissioned by Parks Victoria to assess the most appropriate materials for marine piles (steel versus concrete versus timber) for installation at marine parks in Port Phillip and Western Port. The study required research into life-cycle cost, service life, sustainability and environmental impact of the options. our Matthew killian provided technical oversight for the study.
