rock structure and breakwater design is an important capability in maritime / coastal design that requires distinct experience and capability. rock structures have unique roles, vulnerabilities and approaches to design. these assets can also be extremely expensive with maintenance being quite challenging and the consequences of failure potentially being far reaching.
